Destination Desktop is a unique training experience where you can learn more about CAD than you ever thought possible. Advance your design skills over three days of intense hands-on training delivered by industry experts.

Autodraft is the host of this high-caliber, Autodesk product training conference held annually in Western Canada. Over the past nine years, designers and CAD Managers have taken advantage of this opportunity to network, learn, and share their knowledge with others. And it's also a lot of fun. Olds College is 45 minutes north of the Calgary International Airport, shuttle vans will be available to take attendees to the site.

Who should attend:

  • All users of Autodesk products for design, including; architectural, structural, civil, mapping, manufacturing, electrical, plant design, and general design.
  • CAD Managers responsible for productivity of the design team and meeting project deadlines.
  • Owners of design companies who will benefit from an overview of the capabilities of their current software and to evaluate ways to improve profitability.

The details:

  • All classes are 90 minutes long, with some longer sessions that will be scheduled in sequence (for example, AutoCAD Solids – Part 1 and AutoCAD Solids Part 2). Courses are a combination of lectures and hands-on labs. Electronic handouts (PDF, DWG and DWF) are supplied.
  • Plan to stay for networking and design challenge events held each evening.
    Everything except accommodation is included in the price. Choose between staying on-site in dorm-style townhouses, or at one of the local hotels.

Registration fees:

  • Full conference, all three days: $895
  • Fees include breakfast and lunch on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well as special dinner events on Thursday and Friday evening.
