Global CADD Systems & Autodraft, a Division of Cansel, Awarded Autodesk Algor Authorization
Cansel today announced it has been awarded, by Autodesk, authorization for Autodesk Algor. Autodesk® Algor® Simulation software, part of the Autodesk® solution for Digital Prototyping, provides a range of mechanical simulation tools to help designers and engineers make decisions earlier in the design process. Support for multi-CAD environments and extensive finite element modeling tools help manufacturers study initial design intent and accurately predict product performance. Autodesk Algor Simulation allows you to validate and optimize designs before manufacturing—increasing efficiency, minimizing reliance on physical prototypes, reducing costs, and decreasing errors.

One of our unique advantages in the Canadian marketplace is our expertise and ability to improve your workflow. In the past the surveying and the CAD base plan creation were two somewhat disconnected in-efficient processes. The survey crew would provide an ASCII, file N,E,Z,D file which would be imported into CAD or a field book file. The CAD user would then connect the dots and define breaklines to ensure proper terrain model interpolation. The CAD user would then design a subdivision, road or similar finished ground and export an ASCII file for stakeout. The process for the CAD user was very time consuming and had the potential for errors in defining breaklines from interpretation of not being on-site.
Our services and with Trimble and Autodesk we can significantly reduce the time in several steps of the process as well as help deliver to the field crews a model of the design from Civil 3D for stakeout.
Working with our organization we will be able to eliminate the possible finger pointing between hardware and software vendors and also ensure your process is optimized to its fullest allowing you to be competitive and create a better product.
The following video will help you understand how our hardware, software and services can help your organization.
