McGraw-Hill Building Information Modeling (BIM) SmartMarket Report
The Autodesk-sponsored 2009 McGraw-Hill Building Information Modeling (BIM) SmartMarket Report is now available for download. The report is a summary of a survey that was given to approximately 3,000 architects, engineers, contractors, and business owners across the United States and Canada. It focuses on two areas: determining where BIM adopters are experiencing business value, and determining why non-users haven't adopted BIM and what it will take to get them to adopt.
This paper examines the critical role collaborative project management solutions can play by integrating team members and facilitating a collaborative environment, inherent to the BIM process.

Autodesk Simplified Upgrade Pricing
Autodesk is introducing a new, streamlined way to purchase software upgrades next spring.
- After March 16, 2010, upgrades from any of the three previous software releases to the current release will be one flat price equal to 50% cost of a full license.
- Until then, the price to upgrade depends on which product release you own. The deadline to upgrade from Autodesk® 2007, 2008, or 2009 products using the current pricing model is March 15, 2010.
- Autodesk Subscription has always been more cost-effective and convenient than traditional upgrades. With Autodesk Subscription, customers receive benefits such as automatic upgrades at no charge, budget predictability, more flexible license terms, and more.
- Optional 1, 2 or 3 year discounted contracts available when you upgrade your software or purchase new licenses.
