ProSteel 3D is an object oriented, 3D structural steel construction application based on AutoCAD® using the latest ARX technology. Its use and application are especially beneficial for various sectors in the steel construction industry such as structural engineering and steel-framed building construction, as well as all shape-based construction tasks This modeling and detailing software is offered in three versions, for Detailing/Fabrication, Engineering and Architect offices.
ProSteel 3D communicates with several analysis software packages using a unique seamless bidirectional interface, allowing dynamic transfer of information during the revision process which we would all like to live without, but realize is a fact of life in the field of construction. Easy-to-use and low in cost, this AutoCAD add-on software also generates complete parts lists and BOM as well as NC data for automatic programming of your fabrication machinery. ProSteel 3D uses AISC/CISC and international sections and connection types and operates in both imperial and metric units. With ProSteel 3D you can create your own company-specific sections which will become intelligent objects and save time in producing and checking your 2D plans and elevations, shop and erection drawings. The VB based COM interface, easy open architecture programming feature will further enhance the power of ProSteel 3D; it will positively change the way you detail.
